from
friend Marguerite:
The most grueling problems I've had, have been helped by my grandfather's
advice years ago. He was an inventor. He said that when he couldn't
resolve a problem, he thought about it when he went to bed and turned
it over to his unconscious. Always he'd have it solved within 2 days.
He used the example of the discovery of the benzene ring. The chemist
who had been trying to figure out its configuration had a dream in
which a string of 6 carbon atoms moved around until they formed a
hexagon. Voila! Our minds are our most powerful tool and if rushed
will sometimes balk. |

I've read, heard and have come to believe that nothing is as important
as finding God--as illusive as the perfect brushstroke (perfect in
color, weight, size, placement; beautiful and complete with regards
to the painting as a whole). For me, God is Love (a love mysterious
beyond understanding) and is that which I seek (and must remember
my seeking) in new ideas. |
